The worse place to deal with. Looked at trailer after trailer, and they all had problems. They seemed beautiful at times but seemed is the word to use. Water leaks, soft wall, electric not working once somethings plugged in during showing and broken AC. They also do not talk directly to you, instead, they talk to each other and always walk away. Don’t get caught up in the looks of these because if you do, you will have to put up with the problems later.

Bought a 06 29′ Springdale. Easy financing on the biggest piece of junk you’ll ever buy. They tell every lie in the book to get you out the door in their trailer. HUGE RIPOFF, STAY AWAY FROM ARCHER RV. Every trailer on the lot is in the worst shape even if it looks good. ONCE AGAIN ARCHER RV KIA IN HOUSTON IS FULL OF LIARS AND THEIFS. And I’m spent.

The worst place to ever buy a rv is archer rv. We spent all day there trying to find a camper that didnt leak or didnt have some type of problem. To bad they all had problems from water leaks, electrical, holding tanks busted, and appliances not working. These people will scam you quick to buy their crap. I would not recommend anyone to buy a trailer from this place. The sales personnel don’t take time to show you anything or tell you anything about the trailers. So if you want to know you have to figure it out. We bought one from here but will never do it again. There were so many problems that we had to fix. Luckily I am some what a handyman and fixed most the problems myself. STAY AWAY FROM ARCHER RV

Hidden rot January 30, 2013 at 7:11 am

Bought a Fema unit from the 45 office which is now closed, Seemed fine except it had no furnance. Was told why. (Dinnet was rotten so it was removed.) So they ripped them out and replaced the vinal flooring. Ok fine. Felt firm. Still had stickers from previous “owner”. I did’nt care. 5 minute job. They replaced the stove before I took delivery also. Awesome. Everything was going fine until I asked for a propane bottle. Sales rep said he didn’t have any….Ok….Asked later and he finally gave one up. Had to go back next day for something and asked for anouther bottle. They said they really didn’t have any. Got the part I needed out of anouther unit and there in the bedroom were TWO bottles on the floor! (Thought he didn’t have any?) Stated these units are rebuilt before put on sales floor and the floors were 3/4″ PLYWOOD. After everything was said and done, Got it to the house and put gas to it. Instantly smelled gas. Found the problem, The idiot did’nt tighten the gas line to the stove or even secure it! 2 weeks went by and still didn’t receive the metal tags. Mind you, It rained alot here the paper tag was about done. Yeah, The sales rep couldn’t even put it in a document protector or even spell my name right. I called the office and was forwarded to the “main” office. Talked to a woman who can’t return calls or nothing. Finnaly recieved a call from Bart. Told him what I was doing and asked if he might have some hard to find parts. He said he might and I was more than welcome to come by. I was planning to do so in a week or two. I continued to reseal everything and pulled the fenders off. MAJOR floor rot under the kitchen right where two peices met. One new OSB peice and the rotted factory peice. Rebuilt? Sure… Also found soft spots under bottom bunk after I removed it. Called Bart and asked him about it and see if we can come to some kind of resolution. The man offered to trade my unit for anouther after the papers were finally sent to the state for titling. I found that incredible. So I emptied it and lugged the sucker down there. Looked at some units and QUICKLY decided to keep mine. All the ones there were trashed. I asked him and he told me they’re rebuilt after sale. Backwards? I asked can my unit be rebuilt correctly this time? He thought for a minute then agreed. He even let me watch and the floors are more solid and insulated than from factory! But in person, Bart does give off an asshole vibe. But his vibe and actions are different. From my expeirence and seeing the craftsmanship of his crew, I would buy anouther unit there. Can’t find customer service or quality labor easily. Sorry to be so long but people like to only put either good or bad. I state both.

DO NOT EVER BUY AN RV FROM THESE PEOPLE!!!!!! NEW OR USED!!!! I dumbly went ahead and got the supposedly NEW rv that they are building and it cost about 12,000. with financing. I have never taken it on the road–been right in my rv space for 4 months and it is coming apart literally. Right off we had 3 wall leaks as soon as it rained, then some of the inside trim started coming off, now on whole 4.5 ft outside alum panel just popped off the rv. Heaven help us if we actually tried to go anywhere with this thing—all the walls would come off in the highway! I thought maybe I could live with the leaks but not this. Even if they fixed it which is doubtful you could never feel ok with it not happening again. It is going back and I have lost about 4,600 so far. I wish I had waited for your reply before I did it.

Hot headed salesman wearing a red T shirt. I just asked him to get a price on a Holiday Rambler alum frame 5th wheel trailer. Got into my face because I asked him to get off his a and go inside to get me a cash price. He then told me off and told another salesperson to get a price. Way to high. Stay away from this dealer, only has junk and way overpriced on their junk.

Bought a FEMA trailer from them. Have had problems with it ever since. Was getting the roof redone and a guy almost fell through a soft spot in the roof. Called Archer to see if I could buy a wall panel from them, (They have hundreds if not thousands) they said that they do not sell parts. (They sold me parts when I bought my trailer). It would appear, to me, that once they have your money, they are done with you. I paid for a lot of extra thigns to be done to my trailer, but if you don’t know what you are doing, do not count on them to tell you what is wrong with their trailers.
Over all, I would not recommend them at all.

Great place to buy a fifthwheel. Very nice, helpfull, and willing to go out of there way to help. They take care of everything. Maintainance checks are preformed before they let it leave the lot. There are many nice campers and fifthwheels to choose from. I rate them at 5 stars. That is if you go through Darrell. Ask for Darrell next time you buy a camper from Archer Rv. I am very pleased with the help I recieved. Really nice fifthwheel, great price, no problems. Ask for Darrell…..

I see a lot of bad reviews here, but I have to say my experience was pretty good. I dealt with Darrell through the whole buying process and I, and especially my wife, were very pleased with his service and knowledge. I was, however, not impressed with their service guys, but what they lacked in, Darrell more than made up for. So my opinion is, a purchase can be a nightmare anywhere, but if you deal with the right person, that fear can be eliminated. So if you wanna go to Archer RV, go talk to Darrell, he definitely has a way of making it work out.

I bought a trailer from Jennifer and I paid to have the water and gas system checked before I took it home. when I got it home I hooked the water up and about 2hrs later I went to take a shower and didn’t have hot water!!!! i checked to see if the water heater was on and couldn’t find the switch, i called Jennifer to ask if she could tell me where it was and she said she didn’t know and would ask her mechanic, well…. he didn’t know either! so how did they check it if they didn’t know where to turn it on!!!!! anyway, i got pawned off on a guy named Darrell and he apologized for the mix up and ask me for the serial number and said he would call the factory and see if they could tell where the on switch was. he called me the next morning and said the switch was located in the cabinet under the sink. why couldn’t Jennifer or her mechanic tell me this… poor customer service and no knowledge about what she is selling. anyway our water heater works fine and we really appreciate Darrell’s help.

I come to archer to buy an rv because my friend buy one from Darrell. after we buy one and leave, my truck rear end broke, Darrell find trucker to take us to rv park and Darrell meet us there at 11pm at night and brought us all the things we need to stay in rv and he set it up for us and let us use his car so that we would not be stranded. I thank him so much, he helped more than he had too.

These people are well experienced in bait & switch tactics. They post pictures of nice RV’s then sell you a piece of junk that has been supposedly refurbished from water damage and or other damages. The trailers are over priced. They prey on people that have had credit issues without any remorse. Any time you go into a dealership & the sales people are drenched in gold jewelry turn & run. Shame on Archer RV, hope you have plenty vaseline when karma hits you in the a–.

My 40′ trailer was delivered with No brakes. No keys to the door (after delivery I was told it never had any). Defective pull out (not open). Cracked shower wall with spackle in it. Light Bulb broken in the fixture. And leaky pipes. Of course I was not told any of this, in fact I was told that everything was fine. Then of course their was the hidden delivery fee, I was told 125, but it was really 200. I obviously can’t live in it. I recommend taking your business elsewhere on holidays like Memorial Day, that’s when I went… especially if you are a Veteran like me! How ironic that I wanted to move to the country so I could get away from people that blatantly exploit others, but a Veteran on Memorial Day? THATS LOW! (yes they knew I was a Veteran when they asked about my Disabled Veteran plates). DON’T LIE TO PEOPLE, DO THE RIGHT THING.

I went to Archer about 5 times and could never get any help from any of the people there, if I didn’t have the money right then, they didn’t wanna work with me. I called one last time and asked for Darrell and in ONE WEEK he had us in a very very nice Coachman 5th wheel, I was a little leary, but he did everything he said he could do and I am glad we dealt with him.

I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. We bought an rv and had it delivered, when they guy finally made it to our house (10pm) there was no tred on the tires, no keys and they underneath of the trailer falling apart. We also paid extra to have the water lines checked, they said there was a leak so they fixed it, LIE, There was still a huge leak underneath the bathroom sink. We have now had the trailer for 3 months and the ac went out so we had to replace that. Also the flooring throughout the entire trailer is starting curl up and peel off, our refrigerator is leaking water, our microwave went out, water damage throughout the entire camper, and the shower had a crack in it that is now leaking water onto our floor. We still owe money on this piece of junk!!! We were told when we bought this it would be cleaned (lie) and everything that didn’t work would be replaced. This place is a joke!!
