It is what Ford does not have that GM and Chrysler has, bailout strings. Real Americans will not buy from fiscally and morally bankrupt government run producers. If Ford can shitcan the UAW they will re pass Toyota.

There’s more aid coming. This year’s $25 billion is just a down payment. The automakers now plan to ask the government for another $25 billion in loans next year. It’s just spare change, after all.

This comment is right on the money. I hate that the government bought GM and then gave it to the UAW. The only way to voice my anger is through my wallet. GM, Chrysler and most of the UAW have seen the last of my dollars period.

We all knew it was coming. Americans do not want to buy cars from the DMV. It’s that simple.

It is actually a good deal to buy a GM vehicle. Obama has guaranteed that GM will not fail. The government is a secure bet. I’d buy a GM vehicle if backed by the government. Thank you very much.

The Government is a secure bet? Hopefully you will not be driving on the same road as I am.

Obama motors isn’t getting any more of my money than what the government stole from my tax payments. Cold day in hell before I buy a GM or Chrysler… I refuse to even rent them.

Obama is not running GM. He is giving them money so the workers don’t suffer in an economic crisis we inherited from 8 years of failed economic policy.

It took more than 8 years for GM and Chrysler to screw up bad enough to almost go under. While Bush has a part in this fiasco, republicans and democrats alike own the blame too along with Clinton, Bush Sr., and Reagen and Carter. It goes back forever. Spit out the kool-aid. Not everyone wants a government diaper slapped on their rear.

Chris, you’re an idiot. You should drive a Trabant from (now defunct) East Germany.

“Obama is not running GM.”

HAR! – tell that the the GM CEO Obama personally fired!!!

And as to “He is giving them money so the workers don’t suffer in an economic crisis we inherited from 8 years of failed economic policy.”…

… that translates to “he stole SECURED bondholders’ assets, because GM and Chrysler refused to adapt to business realities anywhere near as well as Hyndai, Toyota, Honda, and even Ford did during GW Bush’s terms. In this way, Obama was able to secure the UAW’s vote down the road, hurt specific capitalists, and most importantly, destroy business investment by eliminating critical investor rights – all with coerced taxpayer money.”

And that destroyed business investment leads directly to the high unemployment numbers we see today. How’s that for “Hope and Change”!!!

While “O” is by far the best and smartest president we have ever had, he is not superman. He cannot run GM and the country. He merely appointed a wise person to run GM. To turn it around. It needed the change. We shall soon see great things from GM.

I prefer not to buy any new car produced by a Democrat union thug. I have two older model Fords now but If I trade for a new one, it will not be any Union made vehicle. Freedom loving Americans shoukld boycott any business where Union people work, and that goes for hotels and restaurants. Why support the enemy?

We would not, and will not, give one more penny of our hard earned income to GM or Chrylser until every penny they stole from the American people is returned! It’s as simple as that for us! Wouldn’t be so bad if that’s all the government was doing, bailing out GM and Chrysler, but they just keep spending and spending and spending. We are sick to death of it, so when and if they are not GOVERNMENT MOTORS is when and if we will buy. Instead, we now have two beautiful Fords in our garage, purchased without the help of Cash for Clunkers thank you very much! The White House if OUT OF CONTROL — they have taken enough from our family for years and years and years to come… so again, when and if these corporations pay us all back is when and if we will come back!

I once bought a General Motors product. And I emphasize ONCE. I didn’t enjoy it the car. It was filled with problems from the beginning to the end. I wanted to give it back to the GM dealership but they didn’t want the car. I owned two FORD products previously to buying the GM. I regretted the day I traded the FORD for a GM. I went back to owning FORD products because I saw that I truly was getting my monies worth and SO MUCH MORE! FORD has the best looking cars and trucks in the automotive market. Why own a JAPANESE TIN when you can own a FORD AMERICAN STEEL MADE.

Wow, what white trash! How many jobs were saved when they did get the bailout? Do you seriously believe that ANY of the big three would be around today if it wasn’t for the bailout?! HILLLLLLBIIILLLLLLLYYYYYYYSSSSSS!!!

Ford is a Mexican made car, not American. Toyota makes cars in America, Honda makes cars in America….hello! They are the job providers! Not the big three!
