(Andover, Hampshire UK) Six women were treated for cuts, bruising and shock after Robert Caton, 50, smashed a 1983 Rolls Royce Silver Spirit into the store and demolished two check outs.
Mr. Caton was angry with the customer service he received after a bedroom set he ordered via telephone arrived without a mattress.
Because Tesco (UK superstore) has a separate division for online/phone customer service, workers in the store could not help him.
Unhappy with their response he flew into a drunken rage before driving his car through the store’s plate glass window as shoppers and staff dived for cover.
